RETN（全称Retinol-binding protein 4）是一种由脂肪细胞分泌的蛋白质，主要参与能量代谢和炎症反应等生理过程。其含量水平与肥胖、糖尿病、代谢综合征等疾病相关，研究表明RETN可促进胰岛素抵抗和炎症反应，从而导致多种代谢异常。因此，RETN可能成为这些疾病的治疗和预防的潜在靶点。
