MMP9 (Matrix Metalloproteinase 9)是一种分泌性酶，可以降解细胞外基质分子。MMP9在多种生理和病理过程中都扮演重要角色，如组织修复、生长发育和癌症转移。过量的MMP9在炎症和某些肿瘤中会引起炎症细胞浸润、血管新生和基质降解，从而加剧疾病进展。MMP9的含量可通过多种信号通路进行调节，如肿瘤坏死因子、白介素、转录因子等。
