Aβ1-42是beta淀粉样蛋白（Aβ）的一种形式，它是一种由神经元合成和分泌的蛋白质。Aβ1-42是导致阿尔茨海默病（AD）的重要成分之一。它在AD病变过程中聚集成胶质斑和神经纤维缠结，损害神经元的正常功能。此外，Aβ1-42还可能在其他神经系统疾病的发病机制中发挥作用，包括创伤性脑损伤、脊髓灰质炎和肌萎缩侧索硬化症等。
