Aβ1-42 (Amyloid beta 1-42)是由脑细胞中酶β-和γ-分泌酶所作用的Amyloid precursor protein (APP)切割而成的42个氨基酸长的肽段。Aβ1-42在早期阶段是神经退行性疾病如阿尔茨海默病的标志物之一。在病变形成的初期，Aβ1-42聚集成神经毒性的β淀粉样物，进而导致神经元死亡和神经退化。因此，Aβ1-42在诊断和研究神经退行性疾病方面具有重要意义。Aβ1-42的含量可以通过脑脊液和血液等生物标本检测。

To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of mouse Aβ1-42 in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.
