This product detects a band of approximately 180 kDa in rat brain hippocampal lysates. This antibody also labels proteins of 65kDa and 115kDa.

Storage/Stability

Store at +4 °C or at -20 °C if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
If stored in this manner, this product is stable for 12 months after receipt.

Preparation

Antisera to NMDA receptor NR2B subunit were raised by repeated immunisations of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography.

Immunogen:

Synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to an amino acid sequence within the NR2B subunit of the NMDA receptor, which includes phosphorylated Tyr1472.

Preservative:

0.09% Sodium Azide
0.01% Bovine Serum Albumin
50% Glycerol

Expiration:

12 months from the date of shipment when stored properly.
